5 Review buku: Street Art

TRESPASS

WoosterCollective alah satu blog yang paling otoritatif terhadap seni jalanan. beberapa waktu yang lalu, pendirinya, Marc dan Sara Schiller, menaburkan beberapa tahun risetnya ke dalam buku Trespass: A History Of Uncommissioned Urban Art — antologi menarik, yang mengupas segala sesuatu mengenai seni urban ini. sebuah resume cantik mengenai manifestasi seni modern untuk aktivisme, demokrasi hingga kebebaan bicara warga sipil. dengan 320 halaman berkualitas, setiap halamannya terkesan angat ambisius memvisualisasikan betapa indahnya seni jalanan.

What makes Trespass different from other street art books is that it’s not a street art book. It’s a book that certainly includes street art and graffiti but goes beyond that to also address performance, protest, sculpture, and the whole goal of the book was to really look at the context of street art in a much larger historical perspective.” ~ Marc Schiller

filsafat modern melalui disain grafis

What Freud to antimatter, or what pre-birth memories and lucid dreams have to do with the ego of genius.

Dalí paints the Atomic Age and the Freudian Age — nuclear scenes and psychoanalytic scenes.” ~ Salvador Dalí

Beautiful Polar Panorama Photography For Your Inspiration

Panoramic photography is a method of photography where in Photos are captured within a greater field of view than the human eye can take in. An image showing a field of view approximating, or greater than, 180 degrees can already make a scene look totally different from real life. Polar Panorama is a unique variation of the panoramic photography in which the technique used covered the fields of view of up to 360°. With the application of Photoshop effects such as Photoshop filter (Distort> Polar Coordinates), the captured images look like a stereographic projection or literally a little planet. So take a look below Beautiful Polar Panorama Photography For Your Inspiration and enjoy. Hope you will like this post. We are expecting for your nice comments and views.

Before Walt Disney: 5 Animations by Early Cinema Pioneers

What a shape-shifting egg has to do with racehorses and the science of facial expressions.

Animation is one of the most ubiquitous and all-permeating forms of visual communication today, seen everywhere from the multitude of TV channels dedicated solely to cartoons to the title sequences of our favorite movies to the reactive graphic interfaces our smartphones. And while most of us have a vague idea of how, when and where it all began, we tend to take for granted the incredible visual wizardry possible today. With that in mind, here’s a brief history of the beloved medium’s beginnings through the seminal work of five early animation pioneers.

COHL: FANTASMAGORIE (1908)

French cartoonist and animator Émile Cohl is often referred to as “the father of the animated cartoon.” The legend goes that in in 1907, when motion pictures were reaching critical mass, the 50-year-old Cohl was walking down the street and spotted a poster for a movie clearly stolen from one of his comic strips. He confronted the manager of the offending studio, Gaumont, in outrage and was hired on the spot as a scenarist — the person generating one-page story ideas for movies. Between February and May 1908, Cohl created Fantasmagorie, considered the first fully animated film ever made. Continue reading
